Fixin (prononcé "Fissin") se trouve en Côte de Nuits, entre Dijon et Gevrey-Chambertin.
Si les sols en pente douce sont chose fréquente autour du village, le dénivelé entre les vignes les plus hautes et les plus basses peut atteindre 80 mètres.

Terroir
Sols argilo-calcaires avec présence de marnes localement

Vinification
Vendanges manuelles, tri des raisins à l'arrivée en cuverie.
Macération fermentaire en cuves bois thermorégulées durant 18 à 21 jours.
Elevage en fûts de chêne (20 à 30% de fût neuf) durant 14 à 16 mois.
